Forest 'Superworm' Adventure Trail

Get a wriggle on with the latest forest trail.  Superworm is super-long. Superworm is super-strong. Watch him wiggle! See him squirm! Hip, hip, hooray for SUPERWORM!

From the creators of The Gruffalo and The Gruffalo’s Child, the hugely popular children’s story Superworm is now at the Forestry Commission site Beechenhurst in the Forest of Dean for 2015 until October.

Superworm tells the story of how a superhero worm and his mini-beast friends defeat the villainous Wizard Lizard.

Hear From Our Previous Guests...

Just a quick but big THANK YOU for helping us all spend a lovely few days at Moorhens. Your property is so well equiped – every time I looked for something it was always close at hand. Despite our short visit we raided the local produce shops at Three Shires Garden Centre and the Severn & Wye Fishery (twice!) together with the local butcher in Newent. We visited Ross on Wye, Symnonds Vat and Ledbury so had a good sample. Fabulous, Thanks again

Chris, Dorothy, Pat (& Chloe the cat!)

This is the second holiday that we have had at Moorhens - we were so pleased with the service and accomodation. We arrived early and Geoff let us in straight away. The welcome hamper was lovely and the accomodation was beautifully clean and had everything we wanted/needed. We love this part of the country and the location is perfect for walking and relaxing. We will be booking again for next year without a doubt. Thank you to Lynda and Geoff for your excellent service and hospitalilty.
